Eligibility Criteria for
Application
- The candidate must be a Bahraini
aged between 20 and 50 years.
- The
candidate should be a full time employee working in the banking
and financial sector of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This includes
employees in banks, insurance companies, Bahrain stock exchange,
capital markets and other financial institutions regulated by
Bahrain Monetary Agency (BMA).
- The candidate shall provide all
the following documents required from him/her to support his/her
application:
- Application Form (With
Part 1 of Application Form to be filled out by the candidate
and Part 2 to be filled out by his/her employer);
- Copy of CPR;
- Copy of degrees and
training courses attended;
- Resume or CV
- Passport size photo
- Any other documents which
might be required.
- The
candidate will go through screening
after undergoing structured interviews as well as other
necessary tests. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to
make the final acceptance decision.
- The
candidate should have completed at least one year of service.
- The
candidate should have a satisfactory record of conduct and work
performance.
- The
candidate should have a good command of Arabic and English.
- The
candidate should apply for a training programme that is
identified in the skills gap analysis and which will benefit
his/her present and future development.
- The
candidate should apply for a training programme at least two
months before the start of the programme in order to allow
adequate time for the approval process.
- The
candidate should select a training programme offered on the list
of approved universities and training institutes.
- The
candidate will be eligible for financial support in the form of
a scholarship, with the HRD Fund bearing a certain percentage of
the total cost of the training programme. The Board of Trustees
of the Fund reserves the right to determine the amount of this
percentage on a case-by-case basis.
- The
candidate should complete the training programme successfully.
Cost in connection with additional sittings or re-sittings are
to be borne by the candidate concerned.
Your application will be reviewed
during the monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees and you will be
advised of the result.
